The New York State Department of Health is taking steps to protect consumers by implementing packaging restrictions on CBD products and prohibiting CBD manufacturers from making unproven medical claims. While NCL is pleased to see the state working on this important issue, there are a number of provisions in the proposed rules that may put consumers at risk. In an effort to protect consumers from unregulated CBD products, NCL submitted comments to the New York State Department of Health.
